Job summary

TD Place in Ottawa is seeking a part-time Community Relations Assistant to support OSEG’s community initiatives and engagement for the REDBLACKS and 67’s. You will help manage appearances for athletes, mascots, and the cheer team, and coordinate with community partners to understand their needs.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and relationship-building.
• Proven time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingualism in English and French is preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site event management for OSEG community events and initiatives.
• Represent OSEG as a spokesperson at community events.
• Handle players, mascots, and cheer squad at events; liaise with community partners.
• Provide administrative support, including appearance tracking and reporting systems.
• Coordinate mascot appearance calendar and bookings with internal and external partners.
• Support in-kind donation program, responding to requests and prize redemptions.
• Assist with Community Ticket Bank outreach and logistics for ticket distribution.
