Job summary

Rocky View Schools is seeking a part-time Caretaker I at A.E. Bowers Elementary School in Airdrie to perform routine cleaning after school hours. This 30-hour/week role supports safe, clean learning environments.

Responsibilities include detail-oriented cleaning, independent work, security checks, and adherence to health and safety standards. Prior cleaning experience is an asset; equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
• Certifications from cleaning organization are assets.
• Previous experience within a school division is an asset.
• An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.

• Keeps sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow.

The Opportunity

RVS is currently seeking applications for a continuing, part-time (30 hrs/week) Caretaker I position to provide routine cleaning duties at A.E. Bowers Elementary School starting immediately. Monday to Friday after school hours with the exception of 1-2 day shifts per month (as per School Year Calendar). A.E. Bowers Elementary School is located in the City of Airdrie and serves students from grades K-5 and French Immersion students from grades K-6. • Demonstrated pride in workmanship
• Keeps assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow

Education/Experience
