Job summary

Colliers in Halifax, Nova Scotia is seeking a part-time Assistant Property Manager to support the management of commercial properties across office and retail assets. You will handle operations, financial administration, and tenant relations with a focus on service excellence.

The role requires 2–4 years in commercial real estate and a degree in Business or Real Estate, plus proficiency in MS Office and real estate software. This is an on-site position with a 24-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Real Estate or related field required.
• 2-4 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and real estate software.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, and contractors.
• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and requests to ensure lease obligations are met.
• Support senior management by preparing ownership reports, budgets, and other reports as required.
• Manage administrative tasks including work orders, service requests, rent and expense payments, and vendor compliance.
