Marino’s Automotive Group is seeking an Apprentice Technician for Marino's Fine Car Subaru in Etobicoke. You will work with experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and essential skills while being mentored toward a successful career in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Holds an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Agreement with the College of Trades.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
• Hours: Up to 24 Hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors
• Perform road test and safety inspections.

Compensation:

• Compensation: $22.00
• The range may vary based on experience and qualifications.

This compensation encompasses hourly rate and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
