Job summary

The SSI Group in Canada seeks a Recreation and Leisure Activities Coordinator to plan, promote and evaluate activities for residents. You will animate individual and group activities, encourage resident participation, and assist during activity time.

You will keep attendance and encourage involvement by volunteers and families, while attending staff meetings and training sessions. The role collaborates with the Recreations Manager throughout probationary evaluation and adheres to resident rights.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent education required.
• Experience in leisure activities for seniors.
• Ability to organize and lead activities.
• Team player and adaptable to changing needs.
