Job summary

Riverstone Retirement Communities seeks a dedicated recreation professional to support seniors through engaging leisure activities. You will participate in planning, organizing, promoting and evaluating activities, while animating sessions and encouraging resident participation.

Working with the Recreations Manager, you will keep attendance records, assist residents during activities, and collaborate with staff, volunteers and families.

• Participate in departmental staff meetings.
• Participate in in-service training programs.
• In collaboration with the Recreations Manager, participate in a three-month probationary evaluation and annually thereafter.
• Is aware and endeavors to respect and promote Resident Rights and Responsibilities.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the recreation department.
