Job summary

Monarch House is hiring a Part-time Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) to support children and youth with autism spectrum disorders in a clinic setting. You will implement ABA-based treatment plans, work 1:1 or in small groups, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve client goals.

The role requires 1 year ABA pediatric experience, evening availability until 7PM, and a commitment to safety and data-driven progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Must be open to evening shifts till 7PM
• Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Minimum of 1 year experience in ABA focused on the pediatric population

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans based on best practices.
• Use systematic methods and behavioral strategies to support client in changing their behaviour.
• Contribute to the development of ABA programs established by the BCBA to teach and reinforce a variety of skills for children and youth in 1:1 or small group settings.
• Understand functions of behavior and respond to situations safely.
• Adhere to ABA training, procedures and protocols.
• Create a positive and engaging environment for the client; maintain their well-being and safety.
• Track client progress through data collection and graphing; assist in baseline measurements.
