Job summary

Catholic Social Services in Edmonton is seeking a Replacement Worker, Program Assistant for our Elpida North halfway house. The role focuses on client-centered support to help residents transition to community life.

You will supervise, support, assess and counsel men or women on parole from federal institutions, build relationships based on respect, communicate clearly in reports, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in human services.
• Basic First Aid and CPR C/AED.
• Training/experience with corrections, addictions, and the criminal justice system or adult offenders preferred.
• Enhanced Security Check and Child Intervention Record Check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support, assess and counsel clients on parole.
• Provide daily living support and develop client relationships.
• Write clear case reports and document interactions.
