Park Services Manager

Location: Moffat Manor Holiday Park, Beattock

Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week

What we need in a nutshell

We need someone to oversee all maintenance and security matters, keeping the park in excellent condition and looking spectacular; repairing, maintaining, renewing, and improving everything from entrance signage to the back fence.

What you will be doing

As part of our team, you will manage the Maintenance team to ensure everything is in good working order. Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the maintenance & grounds team
  • Monitoring landscaping standards
  • Allocating maintenance jobs, from replacing light bulbs to troubleshooting locks and cutting keys
  • Ensuring park Health & Safety compliance
  • Providing security during on-call duties
  • Completing jobs to a high standard and seeing them through to completion
  • Handling other tasks as needed to maintain park operations

Guests and staff will rely on you to fix issues and restore order, so confidence, friendliness, and practical skills are essential. Also, be prepared to work on bank holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need

We will provide training, but the following skills and experience are required:

  • Experience managing trades and general assistants
  • Background in property maintenance, construction, or facilities management
  • Understanding of budgets, P&L, and procurement systems
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • A good standard of education, ideally GCSEs or equivalent
  • Driving license is essential
