Job summary

Qualifications

• Up to high school graduation.
• Experience in parks operations and maintenance.
• Knowledge of park areas, facilities and rules.
• Ability to operate lawn and park maintenance equipment.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License for BC.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and minor construction in parks and recreational areas.
• Care for sports fields, litter collection and park facilities.
• Supervise one or more juniors in related tasks.
• Exercise independence in day-to-day functions and escalate policy issues to a supervisor.
