Job summary

Stage Windows & Doors is seeking a Junior Production Supervisor to lead the Paint Department and support the Senior Production Supervisor in Vaughan. You will drive daily production, maintain quality, and uphold safety in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to train painters, conduct time studies, and optimize manpower. You will work within a small team to deliver high-quality finishes for residential windows and doors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in paint mixing, application, curing, and quality control beneficial.
• Ability to conduct time studies, develop production schedules, and optimize manpower.
• Strong leadership, training, and safety policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S principles is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Paint Department and meet production targets.
• Write procedures for painting processes for profiles, boxes, doors, and slabs.
• Organize steps from cleaning to mixing to curing of paint.
• Conduct time studies to inform manpower scheduling.
• Maintain a logbook of daily, weekly, and monthly studies and tasks.
• Review production schedules to optimize workload and material flow.
• Support management with reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement cost-effective improvements.
• Ensure proper hazardous waste management and PPE compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to painters; resolve escalations promptly.
