Novatech is seeking a Paint Line Operator for the Vaughan production team on the day shift. The successful candidate reports to the supervisor and contributes to quality finishes across profiles.

The role requires reading and writing in English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior painting prep experience is a plus. Health benefits are included as part of the compensation package.

• Review production schedule, including special instructions.
• Ensure proper paint is utilized.
• Paint all required sides of profile.
• Keep work area clean.
• Maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure paint gun is cleaned.
• Inspect surface finish for misses or overspray; advise supervisor as appropriate.

PAINT LINE OPERATOR

The company is currently recruiting for a Painter to join our team on the day shift. The painter reports directly to the supervisor.

Job Duties

• Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
• Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
• Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
• Review production schedule, including special instructions
• Ensure proper paint is utilized.
• Paint all required sides of profile.
• Keep work area clean
• Maintain a safe workplace
• Ensure paint gun is cleaned
• Inspect surface finish (i.e. missed paint surfaces, overspray, etc), advise Supervisor and/or Plant Manager as appropriate.

Skills And Abilities Required

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.

Qualifications

• Preferably a high school diploma (OSSD) or related equivalent experience
• Minimum two years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Preferably minimum one year experience with painting prepping.
