Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. in Vaughan, Canada, is seeking a Paint Line Operator to support manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes preparing and applying paint, maintaining equipment, and following production schedules.

You will communicate with staff, ensure quality surfaces, and keep the work area clean while upholding safety standards. Experience in painting prep is preferred. We offer a comprehensive compensation package including health benefits and opportunities for

Qualifications

• OSSD or equivalent diploma preferred.
• Minimum two years in manufacturing/warehouse.
• Prefer painting prep experience (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
• Report deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
• Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
• Review production schedule, including special instructions.
• Ensure proper paint is utilized.
• Paint all required sides of profile.
• Keep work area clean.
• Maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure paint gun is cleaned.
• Inspect surface finish and advise Supervisor and/or Plant Manager as appropriate.

PAINT LINE OPERATOR

Job Duties

• Communicate with administrative, plant and supervisory staff as required.
• Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor.
• Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required.
• Review production schedule, including special instructions
• Ensure proper paint is utilized.
• Paint all required sides of profile.
• Keep work area clean
• Maintain a safe workplace
• Ensure paint gun is cleaned
• Inspect surface finish (i.e. missed paint surfaces, overspray, etc), advise Supervisor and/or Plant Manager as appropriate.

Skills and Abilities Required

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.

Qualifications

• Preferably a high school diploma (OSSD) or related equivalent experience
• Minimum two years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Preferably minimum one year experience with painting prepping.
