Job summary

A-Apollo Windows & Doors Ltd. is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our Calgary manufacturing team. You will prepare components, mix paints, and apply coatings to meet Apollo's quality standards.

This full-time role offers stable employment in a growing company, group insurance, overtime when available, and opportunities to learn our painting processes.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or production painting experience is an asset.
• Experience using spray guns is preferred.
• Knowledge of paint mixing and surface preparation is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow measurements, formulas, and colour specifications.
• Able to work independently or as part of a production team.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Prepare window and door components for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and ensuring surfaces are properly prepared.
• Mix paints, primers, catalysts, and clear coats according to specified formulas and colour requirements.
• Apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate painting equipment.
• Maintain consistent colour, coverage, thickness, and overall finish.
• Perform touch-ups and corrections where required.
• Inspect painted products for defects such as runs, sags, uneven coverage, overspray, scratches, or colour inconsistencies.
• Follow production schedules and maintain required production output.
• Properly clean and maintain spray guns, hoses, equipment, and painting areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Properly handle and store paints, solvents, and other painting materials.
• Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure products meet Apollo's quality standards.
• Report any quality issues, equipment problems, or material shortages to the supervisor.
• Perform other production-related duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
