Job summary

MiQ in Toronto is hiring a Paid Social Media Specialist to manage and optimize paid social campaigns across platforms, monitor performance, and deliver insights for client reports.

You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet objectives, stay ahead with testing roadmaps, and ensure best practices while supporting growth in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an advertising agency environment.
  • Hands-on experience executing and reporting on paid social campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience in a client-facing role is an asset.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured, problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Curious and proactive, with a passion for learning in a fast-evolving digital advertising landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage paid social campaigns across platforms to achieve marketing objectives
  • Monitor campaign performance daily, ensuring accuracy, pacing, and timely delivery
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data to meet and exceed client KPIs
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and actionable recommendations
  • Support the preparation of client reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance summaries
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment and smooth execution
  • Contribute to trend analysis, testing roadmaps, and performance learnings across accounts
  • Maintain organized campaign documentation and ensure best practices are followed

Job Description Role: Paid Social Media Specialist Location: Toronto

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a key member of our growing team, you will be responsible for set-up and monitoring of MiQ paid social campaigns. You will have the opportunity to learn about our business and develop a strong understanding of the paid media landscape by working cross-functionally with colleagues from different departments and client groups.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Pay Transparency

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Ontario, MiQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Ontario and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $55,000- $65,000. This range does not take into account our bonus and commission structures. Regardless of location, candidates can expect during the first few conversations with MiQ’s Talent team and Hiring Managers to share any approved budget and details on our competitive bonus and commission packages.
