Qualifications

• Current registration with Colleges of Nurses of Ontario is required.
• Minimum 2 years of related current experience in critical care nursing (PACU/ICU/emergency) required.
• Minimum 2 years post-operative surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BCLS/HCP certification required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work under stress in high acuity settings.
• Willingness to work shifts to meet unit needs (pre-booked/relief).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred care in PACU and related critical care settings.
• Collaborate with inter-professional team to deliver care.
• Assess health status and determine need for therapeutic and supportive interventions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes.
