You will provide patient‑centred, evidence‑based care, monitor patients in PACU, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage high-acuity cases and rapid changes in condition. The role requires active RN registration in Ontario, BCLS/HCP, and a minimum of two years in critical care/PACU, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current registration with Colleges of Nurses of Ontario required.
• Minimum 2 years related current experience in critical care nursing (PACU/ICU/EMER) required.
• Minimum 2 years post-operative surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BCLS/HCP certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work shifts to meet unit needs; strong teamwork in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-based care in PACU for post-anesthesia patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to emergencies and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with inter-professional team to plan and deliver care for high-acuity patients.
