Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Staff RN in the PACU at University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC). You will provide compassionate nursing care, perform assessments, plans and evaluations, and work with an interdisciplinary team to meet evolving patient needs.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to NH standards, and ongoing professional development in a fast-paced acute setting. 

Qualifications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as an RN registrant.
• Enhanced specialty post-anesthetic education course with two years of related clinical experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in PACU in acute clinical setting.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
• Support clients and families responding to changing health care needs.
