The University Hospital of Northern BC is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Patient Care Coordinator team. You will help optimize admission, transfer and discharge processes to ensure patients receive timely, appropriate care.

Under the supervision of the Manager or designate, you will coordinate bed utilization, communicate with care teams, and support decision-making to place patients in the right area of care at UHNBC.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of nursing theory and expert skills in nursing practice.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making to support patient placement.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate admission, discharge and transfer processes to optimize bed utilization.
• Promote efficient allocation of beds across the hospital to support appropriate care areas.
• Coordinate the hospital operations in the absence of managers or senior staff.
