Job summary

Apotex Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team in Toronto, Ontario. You will perform packaging duties, adhere to GMP and SOPs, and support safety and quality initiatives daily.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12, can lift 20 kg, and communicate clearly in English. The role offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package including bonuses, pension, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent.
• Proven ability to express oneself clearly in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and meet standard physical demands.
• Experience in GMP or pharma/food manufacturing asset.
• Basic MS Office skills and internet proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Ontario OHSA, Apotex policies, and procedures.
• Perform packaging duties per SOPs and ensure GDP.
• Operate packaging equipment and report issues to maintenance.
• Assist in changeovers, sanitation, and setup.
• Contribute to quality checks and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety, quality and productivity targets.
