Job summary

Wakefield Canada Inc. is seeking a Packaging Operator for the AM shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM). You will operate packaging and filling lines, drive forklift, receive and ship materials, and perform all QC checks and inspections.

Accurate documentation and adherence to HSSE & SOPs are essential. The role requires maintaining current skills and willingness to upgrade as needed. The operator will manage line setups, data coding equipment, and data entry in AX, while supporting safe forklift practices

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years related work experience required.
WHMIS training or experience.
Valid forklift license.
Lock out – tag out training.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Operate packaging and filling lines (Jug Line, High Speed Line, Multi Line, etc.) and ensure safe, efficient production.
Perform forklift operations to receive/ship materials and move products.
Record data and results accurately in the process monitoring systems.
Conduct QC checks, testing, and documentation per SOPs and HSSE requirements.
Maintain clean, organized work area and comply with 5S practices.
Participate in warehouse controls, inventory cycle counting, and data entry in AX.
