Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Packaging Operator to oversee the operation of up to 3 packaging lines per shift, coordinating with QA, Maintenance Mechanic and Packagers to ensure on-time, high-quality packaging.

You will follow SOPs, perform in-process checks, train new Packagers, maintain housekeeping and safety practices, and escalate issues to Shift Lead. Overtime/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands packaging procedures prior to each job.
• Provides direction to Packagers.
• Monitors production output on an hourly basis and takes corrective actions if routings are behind schedule.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and running of up to 3 packaging lines per shift.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot mechanical problems and repairs.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Quality Assurance to ensure timely issuance and reconciliation for packaging runs.
• Review completed PBRs for document accuracy and assist in training new Packagers.
