Mondelez International Canada is seeking a Packaging Development & RDQ specialist based in Toronto, to lead packaging design and deployment for innovation and growth projects. You will collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure consumer-centric packaging solutions that meet quality and cost goals.

Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete Packaging Design and Packaging Deployment for Innovation/Growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct activities to generate appropriate packaging information, using sampling and supplier management, and pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will plan and conduct process development activities (e.g. packaging design and specifications, packaging scale up, commissioning etc.) and help with planning and the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. You will also create technical reports, which will require your skills in analysis and interpretation of results that will lead to conclusions and recommendations; create and maintain accurate packaging specifications; and create intellectual property to drive our competitive advantage.

Knowledge and/or experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and process control systems, intermediate statistics experience, including Design of Experiments and use of Minitab
Travel requirements:
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for domestic vendor/manufacturing visits.

Hybrid work schedule. Role based in Toronto, CAN
The expected base salary range for this position is $69,800 to $87,250 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8% with the possibility for over‑achievement based on performance and company results. Mondelez also offers several generous employee benefits (some subsidized or fully paid for by the company), including health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, and enhanced vacation and holiday entitlements.
