Position Title:Packaging Account Coordinator - CONTRACT

We're looking for a Packaging Account Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong project and account coordination skills with a background in packaging design and rollout. Experience in similar environments (retail merchandising, etc.) is also considered very relevant.

This role is based in Winnipeg and will be on-site at our client, an iconic Canadian retailer.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Help to manage projects as part of a team through all stages of execution and delivery to ensure the work is on time, accurate, and on budget.
  • Specifically, supports the delivery of brand and campaign assets in alignment with our client’s marketing calendar
  • Understand business requirements, gather package assets, write briefs and coordinate internal workflows while working with all internal and client stakeholders in the context of a well-defined process
  • Works with our client teams to develop packaging refresh schedule
  • Oversees packaging workflow and timelines, ensures production timelines are met, identify risks and roadblocks and proactively works to prevent or resolve them.
  • Review creative, copy/layout with a keen eye for accuracy and brand and strategic compliance.
  • Report on project progress to agency and client and other stakeholder teams.
  • Manage project-related controls such as dockets, cost trackers, digital asset libraries and workflow tools.
  • Help manage financial aspects of projects - including estimates, billing spreadsheets, reconciliations and budget management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • You completed a post-secondary program and have a minimum of 1-3 years’ related experience either on client or design studio side – some studio/professional services experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • You have experience working with clients, ideally (but not essential) in the retail or CPG industry or have similar experience in industry.
  • You’ve successfully coordinated multiple, simultaneous projects, delivering on time and on budget.
  • Your superior organizational skills with acute attention to detail help you meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • You work well within a team environment, have lots of fun and roll with the punches.
  • You are respectful and considerate of other points of view and collaborate well with colleagues and clients.
  • You confidently communicate with your peers, superiors and client partners.
  • You confidently use MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) or similar
