Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Packager to support production and warehouse operations while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role contributes to a safe, efficient and high-quality output in cold environments.

Starting wage is $21.29/hour, with progression to the full classification rate per the collective agreement. Weekly pay, shift premiums for afternoon and night shifts, and overtime pay at 1.5x are included.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Ability to work in a -35°C environment.
• Must be available to work up to 40 hours a week, including night shifts, weekends and overtime as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Previous experience in a food processing plant or warehouse environment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for customers.

As a Packager, you will play an important role in supporting our production and warehouse operations while ensuring our products meet our quality and safety standards.

Context to maximize your impact:

Starting wage of $21.29/hour, with progression to the full classification rate in accordance with the collective agreement. Weekly pay. Shift premiums: $0.55/hour for afternoon shifts, $0.70/hour for night shifts, and applicable weekend premium. Overtime paid at 1.5x, in accordance with the collective agreement.
