UPS in Lachine, Quebec, is seeking a package handler to load, unload, ship, receive, scan and stock packages. The role may require operating heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Starting hourly rate: $ 18.50/h; Maximum rate: $ 31.31/h (probation + 48 month progression). Approximately 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday; shift: 6 PM - 11 PM (flexible). UPS is an equal opportunity employer with accommodations available on request.

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. The employee may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods.
• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

DESCRIPTION

Starting hourly rate: $ 18.50/h

Maximum rate: $ 31.31/h (probation + 48 month progression)

Approximately 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Overtime after 5 hours of work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
