Job description

We are seeking a Permanent Full-Time Pacemaker Technologist at Kelowna General Hospital in Kelowna, BC.

Days of work: Monday to Friday, Days

Shift times: 07:30 to 15:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 09:00 to 17:00, 09:30 to 17:30

This position is a regularized relief role for the KGH Pacemaker Clinic and Diagnostic Cardiology ECG. Sunday on-call is required on a rotating basis.

What will you work on?

The Pacemaker Technologist provides patient care in the Pacemaker Clinic and during pacemaker implantation, including analysis, programming, and assisting in surgical procedures. Responsibilities include performing ECG testing, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and other diagnostic cardiac tests. The role involves interpreting data, maintaining records, troubleshooting, and collaborating with physicians and biomedical staff.

Additional duties include participating in standards development, equipment maintenance, staff training, and contributing to quality assurance programs.
