Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking an experienced CAD Draftsperson in Vancouver, BC, to join our Energy & Resources team focused on protection and control design. You will develop detailed civil/structural and telecom drawings using CAD tools and contribute to project deliverables for a broad set of clients.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in CAD technology.
• Minimum 5 years drafting experience in construction.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; SDS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil/structural and telecommunications drawings using CAD programs.
• Develop drawings for protection and control panel/cabinet layouts, wiring, and diagrams.
• Create BOMs, nameplates, cable schedules and structure data sheets.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Identify design clashes and assist with field/site visits as needed.
