Job summary

Fortigo Freight Inc in Montreal's Lachine plant is seeking a Class 1 driver to manage local deliveries. You will park your truck at the customer site, start at 9:00, Monday to Friday, and operate with a focus on safety and reliability.

Candidate requirements include a clean driving record, at least 2 years of Class 1 experience, a 2016 or newer vehicle with raised fifth wheel, IRP plate, and ability to speak French.

Qualifications

• Clean abstracts and criminal search required.
• 2 years of Class 1 experience.
• 2016 or newer vehicle; raised fifth wheel required.
• IRP Plate.
• Must understand and speak French.

Responsibilities

• Assist with local deliveries and operational coverage as required.
• Receive training and become qualified on Mini Bulk deliveries to support last-minute customer requests.
• Provide coverage for rush deliveries, mini bulk deliveries.
• Perform PM shunting activities and support afternoon and evening operations including yard inventory.
