Job summary

Fortigo Freight Inc is seeking a driver to handle deliveries in Quebec and the Ottawa region using flatbed and enclosed trailers. You will start your day between 6:00 am and 7:00 am and communicate regularly with dispatch regarding your progress.

Applicants must hold a Class 1 license with a clean driving record and at least 2 years of experience. Competitive pay is offered, including an hourly wage, bonuses, and additional benefits like a Pipeline and PetroPass Fuel Card.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and undergo a criminal investigation.
• At least 2 years of driving experience, with one year on flatbed.
• Ability to manage and secure loads properly.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily progress with dispatch and resolve any issues.
• Manage load securement and documentation via the Fortigo app.

Job description

Job Summary

You will be parking your tractor in L’Assomption. Your start time will be between 6:00 am and 7:00 am Monday to Friday. You are required to have an Android phone that supports the Fortigo app where you will be getting your daily assignments and where you will be making updates throughout the day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliveries in Quebec and the Ottawa region in flatbed and enclosed trailers.
• Handling of plastic coils.
• Day-to-day activities include load securement, updating the Fortigo application, and managing documentation. No tarping required.
• Daily communication with our client's dispatcher on your progress, identifying problems and resolving them with dispatch.
• You will be called upon to drive Fortigo's 32-foot flatbed straight trucks.

Qualifications and Competencies

• A clean driving record and criminal investigation are mandatory.
• Class 1 license, 2 years of experience including one year on flatbed.
• Be able to throw the straps on an 8-foot-high load.
• 2017 or newer tractor registered IRP.
• French is mandatory, English is an asset.
• Doit posséder un téléphone Android.
