WoodGreen Community Services is seeking an Awake Overnight Youth Worker for the Redwood Program in East Toronto. This full-time CUPE unit role supports youth aged 12 to 18 in a live-in style setting, with a 40-hour week and overnight shifts from 12am to 8am. Qualifications

• Requires university/college degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with youth programs or congregate care preferred.
• Strong communication, administration and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment and build trust with youth.
• Apply strengths-based, relationship-based care with equity and inclusion.
• Engage youth and families through youth and family engagement.
• Maintain client records per policy and privacy laws.
• Handle administrative duties within required timeframes.
• Represent the agency professionally with families and partners.

Skills

Degree in Child & Youth Work or Social

Youth services experience

Strong communication skills

Administrative and computer skills

First Aid/CPR certification

Understanding and Managing Aggressive

Suicide prevention training

Ontario G driver's license

Education
