Central Toronto Veterinary Referral & Emergency Clinic in Toronto, ON is hiring a full-time Veterinary Receptionist to support our specialty and emergency teams overnight. You will greet clients, manage check-ins, handle calls, and maintain patient records while delivering compassionate service during overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
• Comfortable with overnight shifts and weekend rotation.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients with a welcoming, professional first impression.
• Coordinate client check-ins and schedule appointments.
• Answer and direct calls using a multi-line system.
• Prepare forms, certificates, and other client documents.
• Maintain client and patient medical records.
• Handle basic invoicing, billing, and payments.
• Communicate with referring hospitals for records.
• Update and maintain client and patient information.
• Keep reception area clean and organized.
• Support clients with professionalism during stressful situations.
• Collaborate with Emergency and Specialty teams to support hospital operations.
