Veterinary Emergency and Referral Hospital of West Toronto is hiring a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician, Emergency to join our growing emergency team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role offers hands-on ER experience and collaboration with DVMs and a skilled team in a 24/7 hospital.
You’ll manage a wide variety of emergency cases, grow your technical skills, and work at the top of your license. Fluency in English is required and support to advance in ER is provided.
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Schedule: Full-Time | Three 12-hour shifts per week
Compensation: $28–$35/hour + $2/hour Overnight Differential + $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

This is an opportunity for a Veterinary Technician to build advanced ER and Critical Care skills while working alongside a highly skilled, collaborative team in a 24/7 emergency and referral hospital.
Whether you’re an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician who thrives in emergency medicine or you’re coming from general practice and ready for more complexity, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a wide variety of emergency cases, expand your technical skills, and practice at the top of your license.
This is a hands-on Emergency Veterinary Technician role where your skills will be used every day in meaningful ways. You’ll work closely with DVMs and fellow RVTs to provide exceptional patient care for urgent and critical cases.
