Job summary

Cleantech Service Group is seeking a dependable Concierge for a 28-floor, 379-unit residential building in Coquitlam, BC. You will support residents with daily needs, coordinate with vendors, and help maintain a safe, welcoming community.

The role requires hospitality experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure. Full-time, 11:30 PM–7:30 AM shifts with pay at 22 CAD/hour, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Resident Service: Assist residents with needs, package handling, key management, information inquiries.

• Event Planning: Organize community events and gatherings.
• Administrative Support: Manage reservations, records, and resident communications.
• Emergency response: Respond to emergencies and guide residents in safety protocols.
• Building maintenance: Report and coordinate minor maintenance with management.
• Information Resource: Be a knowledge source on local services and policies.
• Communication Liaison: Facilitate communication between residents, management, and others.

We are seeking a dependable and professional Concierge for a residential property, a 28-floor, 379-unit building located in Coquitlam. In this dynamic role, you will provide exceptional customer service, respond to client needs, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Resident Service: Assist residents with various needs, such as package handling, key management, and information inquiries.
• Security Oversight: Monitor and control access to the property, ensuring the safety and well being of residents.
• Vendor Coordination: Facilitate communication with service providers and contractors for maintenance or repairs within the property.
• Event Planning: Organize and coordinate community events or gathering to foster a sense of community among residents.
• Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks, such as managing reservation, maintaining records, and assisting with resident communications.
• Emergency response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, alerting appropriate authorities and guiding residents in safety protocols.
• Building maintenance: Report and coordinate minor maintenance issues and liaise with property management for resolution.
• Information Resource: Act as a knowledge resource for residents regarding local services, amenities, and community policies.
• Communication Liaison: Facilitate effective communication between residents, property management, and other relevant parties.

Requirements:

• Flexibility, availability, and the ability to address requests promptly.
• Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields.
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Starting date: ASAP

Shift Timings:

11:30 PM - 7:30 AM

• 8 hours shift
• Sunday - Friday

Pay Rate:

$22 per hour

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Concierge/caretaker/building manager: 1 year (preferred)
