Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Night Cleaner to join the overnight team, ensuring safe and efficient operations and supporting colleagues in delivering exceptional dining experiences.

The role is permanent with an hourly pay rate of $20.96 and starts in November 2026, offering a chance to work in a premier resort setting within Banff National Park.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs and manual handling.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing and pulling, and stair work.

Responsibilities

• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service throughout the shift.
• Overnight shifts from approx 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.
• Deep clean kitchen areas after hours to maintain hygiene.
• Clean and sanitize floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and ceiling tiles.
• Report necessary repairs or areas of concern.
• Use PPE properly and store chemicals safely.

Job Description

Every memorable dining experience at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise begins with our overnight team’s commitment to safe and efficient operations. As a Night Cleaner, you will play an important role in support of your colleagues and the preparation of exceptional cuisine.

Position Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: $20.96/hour

Start Date: November 2026

Job Duties Include

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Work overnight shifts from approximately 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
• Deep clean all kitchen areas after hours to ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation is met
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and ceiling tiles
• Report necessary repairs or areas of concern
• Ensure proper use of PPE while using chemicals and all chemicals are properly stored and organized
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
