Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a motivated Stewarding Coordinator to organize team schedules, track labor and records, and support recruitment and training.

You will help coordinate back‑of‑house operations, maintain files, and ensure health and safety standards are met while contributing to a welcoming guest experience at the Banff National Park resort.

Qualifications

• Strong business communication skills (written and verbal) are required.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
• Experience with recruitment processes is an asset.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly schedules and enter into the WATSON system.
• Review and manage candidates in the SmartRecruiter Talent Acquisition System.
• Create Employee Action Forms for hires, status changes and terminations.
• Maintain the Kitchen office filing system including employee files and appraisals.
• Update spreadsheets related to hiring, schedules and payroll.
• Support health and safety initiatives and maintain a clean working environment.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Stewarding team at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. As Stewarding Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in organizing team schedules, tracking labor and records, supporting recruitment and training, and ensuring efficient back-of-house operations. This is a great opportunity to build your skills in hospitality administration and team coordination.

Job Duties Include

• Create weekly schedules and enter into our WATSON system
• Review and manage candidates in the Talent Acquisition System (SmartRecruiter)
• Create Employee Action Forms: hiring, change of status, and terminations
• Maintain the Kitchen office filing system, including employee files, performance logs and performance appraisals
• Update spreadsheets pertaining to hiring, schedules, and payroll
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiative

Qualifications

• Strong business communication skills (composing faxes, letters) required
• Must be highly skilled with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Previous experience with recruitment an asset.
• Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
