Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Night Cleaner to support overnight kitchen operations and uphold high hygiene standards in a premium mountain resort setting.

You will work approximately 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, perform deep cleaning duties, and contribute to a safe, organized team environment while adhering to health and safety initiatives. Excellent stamina and the ability to handle heavy lifting are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to consistently stand and walk throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30lbs.
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.

Responsibilities

• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Work overnight shifts from ~11:00 pm – 7:30 am.
• Deep clean all kitchen areas after hours for high hygiene standards.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and ceilings.
• Report necessary repairs or areas of concern.
• Ensure proper use and storage of chemicals and PPE.

Job Description

Every memorable dining experience at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise begins with our overnight team’s commitment to safe and efficient operations. As a Night Cleaner, you will play an important role in support of your colleagues and the preparation of exceptional cuisine.

Position Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: $20.96/hour

Start Date: September 2026

Job Duties Include

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Work overnight shifts from approximately 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
• Deep clean all kitchen areas after hours to ensure the highest level of hygiene and sanitation is met
• Clean and sanitize all kitchen floors, ovens, stovetops, walls and ceiling tiles
• Report necessary repairs or areas of concern
• Ensure proper use of PPE while using chemicals and all chemicals are properly stored and organized
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
