Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a Resort Activities Supervisor to oversee the Rental Shop, Health Club, Kids Camp, and Boathouse, ensuring service standards and efficient operations.

You will mentor and lead a team, manage scheduling and training, and handle inventory and guest service. Must be calm under pressure and capable of inspiring a high-paced team. Competitive hourly rate with comprehensive benefits and on-site staff housing. Start date November 2026.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of post-secondary study.
  • University / College Graduate of an Early Childhood Services program or Recreation Management.
  • CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • Previous leadership role experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a mentor who can train and lead colleagues in all areas of the Resort Activities department.
  • Cultivate an environment that supports staff and fosters employee development.
  • Provide training resources for employees in POS, product and service knowledge, guest service and activities.
  • Perform all administrative functions including proper record keeping of all training programs, payroll, SOPs, point-of-sale system management, and operational health and safety.
  • Efficient administration and coordination of inventory management activities including purchase orders, receiving documents, invoices, warranty returns and special orders.

Job Description

As Resort Activities Supervisor you will oversee the programs and activities offered to our guests including the Rental Shop, Health Club, Kids Camp, and Boathouse. This position is accountable for service standards, operational efficiency, staff supervision, and inventory management. Must possess a combination of leadership skills and administrative prowess. This role requires someone who is calm under pressure and can inspire and motivate a team in a high paced environment.

Job Duties Include
