A consulting firm in Toronto is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to lead their growing Outsourcing Advisory practice. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in outsourcing advisory services, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to manage project teams effectively. This role offers an opportunity to develop new business and mentor junior consultants.
You play a key role in growing current Outsourcing services in our client’s market. The primary mandate for this role includes increasing market share by developing and executing business development strategies as well as delivering top quality work to clients.
As a Manager or Senior Manager you will lead a diverse team of highly talented Consultants in a cross functional environment, taking a lead role in delivering consulting services to high growth organizations. You create long-term relationships at a senior client level and have strong knowledge in leveraging prevalent methodologies. This role employs a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability. You will anticipate the long term, multifunctional impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving. You will execute a client service plan on complex engagements and work closely with the Partners in exceeding our client’s customer’s expectations while identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects.
You will network broadly to attract senior level talent to the firm and are accountable for the development and recognition of current staff. You will achieve expertise in a specialization and develop a reputation as a multi-functional business advisor while being recognized internally and externally as a solutions expert.
As well, you will participate in the development and delivery of training programs, and act as a mentor and coach for Consultants and Senior Consultants by providing formal reviews and ongoing feedback while providing consistent recognition and support to team members.
Our client’s Outsourcing Advisory practice is experiencing considerable growth. As a result, they are seeking to attract a seasoned outsourcing advisory specialist at the Senior Manager or Manager level to further build this practice area. You will play a lead role in managing the practice while also being responsible for creating new business.
Ideally, you will have deep experience delivering full lifecycle outsourcing advisory services to internal or external clients. Experience will include the development of outsourcing strategy through contract negotiation and transition for information technology and/or business process outsourcing. Legal qualifications would be advantageous.
