Job description

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing business through B2B distributor channels across Ontario and supporting them through occasional end-user visits and product education. The role is approximately 80% focused on distributor development and 20% cold outreach to end users (e.g., welding/fabrication shops). This position offers a base salary of $90,000–$110,000 CAD (depending on experience), plus commission and along with other perks.

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:

  • Head Office: Toronto, ON
  • Primary Territory: GTA and Ontario focused for this role
  • Work Model: Field-based — 4 days/week on the road, 1 day working from home

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Preferred: 3–5 years selling abrasives, industrial consumables, or MRO/safety products
  • Existing distributor relationships are a strong asset

  • Decision Makers: Distributor sales reps, branch managers, end-user supervisors

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE:

  • Sales Cycle: 2–6 weeks
  • Account Size: Varies by distributor or end-user volume
  • Sales Style: 80% new business development, 20% account growth
