THE ROLE - SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The sales representative will follow the company's sales playbook to initiate, track, nurture, and convert leads from various networks.

Responsibilities include actively soliciting cold and warm leads via cold calling, networking, social media, and field prospecting. The role involves building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.

The sales representative will work under the Business Development Manager and collaborate with estimators, marketing, and the executive team to pursue ideal clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of sales experience in the ICI sector of construction in Ontario, with a proven professional network and experience using CRM software.

Candidates must have:

  • Leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a motivational personality.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills with all project stakeholders.
  • Strong relationships with Architects & Designers (A&D) and other networks.
  • Ability to understand client needs and deliver on commitments.
  • Experience conducting impactful presentations.
  • Ability to monitor sales trends and participate in promotional campaigns.
  • Awareness of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Ability to secure and foster inclusion in tenders and project groups.
  • Capability to produce business reports.
  • Maintaining an updated client/customer portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Sales experience within the design-oriented or construction-related industry, particularly with Architects, Interior Designers, or the Commercial Real Estate sector in Ontario.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for achievement.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and web inquiries.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

This role is open to options including sales commissions.
