As aSales Representativespecializing in the building materials industry, you will play a vital role in supporting Renostone's dealers, including RONA, BMR, Home Hardware and other banners. Renostone is a versatile building material designed for both interior and exterior use. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain strong relationships with our dealer network, provide ongoing support, and ensure they have the tools and knowledge to succeed with Renostone’s products. This role requires frequent travel to dealer locations (within 2 hour radius around Ottawa/Gatineau), making access to a reliable vehicle essential. Candidates with prior construction experience and general building material knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
·Dealer Support:Act as the primary point of contact for Renostone dealers, providing product knowledge, training, and ongoing support to ensure their success.
·On-Site Visits:Regularly visit dealer locations to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and provide hands-on support. (within a 2 hour radius of Ottawa/Gatineau)
·Merchandising Assistance:Collaborate with dealers to optimize product displays, promotional materials, and inventory management.
·Training and Education:Conduct product training sessions for dealer staff, ensuring they are well-informed about Renostone’s features, benefits, and installation processes.
·Feedback Collection:Gather insights from dealers regarding customer preferences, challenges, and opportunities, and communicate these to internal teams to improve product offerings and services.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
· General knowledge of construction practices and building materials.
· Bilingual (English/French)
· Access to a reliable vehicle for travel to dealer locations.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
· Organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Results-driven mindset, with a focus on supporting dealer success and ensuring customer satisfaction.
