Are you a motivated sales professional looking for an opportunity to drive business growth, manage key accounts, and build strong industry relationships?

RS Breakers & Controls is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to develop new business, manage customer accounts, and expand our presence across Alberta’s industrial sectors. You’ll work closely with electrical contractors, engineers, wholesalers, and Alberta’s energy, oil & gas, and agriculture industries—helping them find the best solutions for their needs.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for Alberta’s electrical, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and networking.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate the value and functionality of our products and services.
  • Drive margin growth through strategic partnerships with suppliers.
  • Expand RS Breakers & Controls’ footprint in Alberta.

Account Management & Customer Support

  • Execute customer account plans in collaboration with the President.
  • Maintain and build long-term customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Provide quotations, bids, and proposals, either independently or with the sales team.
  • Stay in touch with existing and previous customers, keeping them updated on new products and services.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with suppliers to strengthen partnerships and sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales data.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in sales, procurement, or business development.
  • Electrical industry experience preferred; knowledge of energy, oil & gas, and industrial sectors in Alberta is an asset.
  • Strong track record in building client relationships and closing deals.
  • Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and quoting tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Established relationships with electrical contractors, wholesalers, and industry professionals.
