Job Description

We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of sales experience in the steel or metals industry and a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Previous experience in wholesale trading and supply chain management is a strong advantage.

As the primary point of contact for your customers, you will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to order fulfillment. Strong communication skills are essential, and you must be able to speak English at a business level or higher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify and establish relationships with new customers.
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Create and process sales orders, providing clear timelines to customers.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the metals or steel service industry.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach to meeting customer needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage customer accounts effectively and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
