Job summary

Life’s Journey Inc. in Winnipeg, MB is seeking an Outreach Support Mentor for a full-time, 12-month term to support participants in the Outreach or Spectrum Connections programs.

The role involves direct participant support, collaboration with the Outreach Team and Program Manager, and ensuring program plans are followed while upholding safety and agency policies. Qualifications include prior outreach experience and a valid driver’s license. Indigenous culture knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous Outreach experience required.
• Two years’ related experience preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Satisfactory checks: Child and Adult Abuse Registry, Criminal Record (vulnerable sector) and drivers’ abstract.
• First Aid Level 1 – Emergency certification.
• Reliable vehicle and valid license.
• Ability to attend work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to program participants in Outreach or Spectrum Connections.
• Collaborate with the Outreach Team and Program Manager.
• Assist in planning, monitoring, and communicating participant plans.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and safety rules.
