Job summary

Life’s Journey Inc. is seeking an Outreach Support Mentor in Brandon, MB, to provide direct support to participants of the Outreach or Westman Services program.

You will work with the Drop in Coordinator and Clinical team to plan, monitor, and communicate activities aligned with each participant’s program planning documents. This role requires strong communication, cultural knowledge, and the ability to follow agency policies while maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Outreach experience required.
• Two years’ experience in a related role and supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience in an outreach setting.
• Criminal record checks and vulnerable sector checks required.
• First Aid Level 1 – Emergency certification required.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license (5F).
• Ability to attend work regularly as scheduled.
• Demonstrated language, writing and comprehension skills.
• Cultural knowledge competence and agency training participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to Outreach/Westman Services program participants.
• Collaborate with the Drop in Coordinator and Clinical team.
• Assist in planning, monitoring, and communicating program activities and participant plans.
• Follow Life’s Journey Inc. policies, WHS, and operational practices.
• Handle limited program administration and liaise with collaterals.
