Job summary

Boutique of Leathers & Open Road in Calgary is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to help customers select leather fashion, moto apparel, and accessories. You will translate product knowledge into confident purchases and uphold a positive store environment.

Responsibilities include promoting current offers, achieving sales goals, handling returns and exchanges, and maintaining cleanliness. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible evenings/weekends is preferred.

• Showcase a positive attitude to customers and tasks

• Be knowledgeable on current promotions and convey offerings
• Ensure each customer experiences the Lammle’s Experience
• Lift and distribute merchandise up to 50lbs and assist in display
• Maintain store cleanliness and tidiness
• Process purchases, returns/exchanges and special orders at register using POS system
• Follow company policy on loss prevention

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Boutique of Leathers products, and effectively translate knowledge to customer through need recognition
• Showcase a positive attitude to both the customer and the tasks assigned
• Strive to reach personal productivity and sales goals
• Be knowledgeable on current promotions and convey offerings to customer
• Ensure each customer receives the Lammle’s Experience
• Lift and distribute merchandise up to 50lbs, refill stock and assist in merchandise display
• Take pride and attend to store cleanliness and tidiness
• Process purchases, returns/exchanges and special orders at register using POSsystem
• Comply with policy and regulations as per the company’s employee manual with regards to loss prevention

Skills:

• Strong personal skills, outgoing and able to communicate with co-workers and customers
• Sales and customer service orientated, ability to identify sales opportunities and problem solve
• Western knowledge preferred
