Job summary

S&T Property Maintenance Ltd. is seeking a motivated Operations Supervisor to oversee year-round property maintenance and landscaping operations.

This hands-on leadership role involves directing crews, coordinating daily work, and ensuring safety and quality across all sites. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and a mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a crew in outdoor maintenance.
• Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Mechanical aptitude with equipment maintenance troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise landscaping, maintenance, and snow removal crews.
• Plan daily work schedules and prioritize projects.
• Operate and oversee heavy equipment safely (wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators).
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Coordinate major repairs with outside service providers.
• Ensure equipment is clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Assist with landscaping projects (grading, sod, planting, irrigation).
• Oversee winter snow removal for sidewalks and parking lots.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and crew performance.
• Train and mentor employees, promoting a positive team environment.
• Maintain maintenance records and daily job docs.
• Enforce OH&S safety policies and compliance.
• Communicate with management, clients, suppliers, and team.
