Job summary

Alpha Better Landscaping is hiring Sr. Field Supervisors / Forepersons in the construction landscaping space. You will lead teams across large-scale installations, coordinate subcontractors, and drive production on multiple community and commercial projects.

Robust field leadership, safety focus, and the ability to manage timelines are essential. Seasonal role from April to November with potential winter snow work.

Qualifications

• 2 years of field supervisory or large-scale landscape construction experience.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license; driver's abstract required by insurer.
• Experience operating landscaping/construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule weekly construction activities aligning with schedules and budget.
• Coordinate and motivate crew and sub-contractors daily.
• Support team to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Review project specs and establish schedules with the Superintendent.
• Identify hazards and propose corrective actions on site.
• Ensure health and safety of crew; conduct training and reporting.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to reports.
• Manage supplies, tools, and equipment needs weekly with superintendent.
• Maintain client relationships and report issues affecting contract.
• Attend project meetings representing the company; deliver status reports.
• Prepare daily timesheets and proper job costing; uphold company values.
