Job summary

Seven M Construction Ltd. is seeking a Landscaping Supervisor to lead grounds maintenance and landscape construction projects across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

You will hire, supervise and schedule staff, plan work, ensure safety, and coordinate with crews on sod, trees, and nursery tasks. This seasonal full-time role offers multiple sites and weather-dependent schedules.

Qualifications

• 3 years of combined experience in landscaping and supervisory duties.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work.
• Hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• Supervise other workers.
• Establish work schedules and procedures.
• Resolve work-related problems.
• Train other workers.

Landscaping Supervisor

Salary: $30/hour (salary increases per company policy)

Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time (40-60 hours/week, 8-12-hour days, weather-dependent), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and work on holidays may be required.

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Experience: 3 years of combined experience in landscaping and supervisory duties

Ability to Supervise: 5 - 10 people

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed Safety Boots, Safety Vest, Hard Hat

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, Ability to distinguish between colours, Large workload, Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads (Up to 23kg (50lbs))

Work Site Environment: Outdoors, dusty

Work setting: Landscape contractor, park and recreation sites, urban area, commercial and municipal

Personal Suitability: Team player, Initiative, Judgement

Area of Specialization: Lawn care, Tree service, Grounds maintenance, Landscape construction, Nursery or greenhouse
